Golden State Warriors Star Andre Iguodala Scores Bay Area Home for $3.6M
David Paul Morris/Bloomberg via Getty ImagesGolden State Warriors star Andre Iguodala has purchased a home in Lafayette, CA. The versatile small forward with two NBA championship rings picked up the property in September for $3.6 million, according to property records.
And it figures that the 2015 Finals MVP has picked out an MVP house.
Positioned just across from the town’s bike trail, this “notable residence leaves no amenity to be desired and offers indoor-outdoor living at its finest,” boasts the listing.
Built in 2004, the “Tuscan-inspired,” 5,715-square-foot home sits on a half-acre lot and features an open floor plan, eat-in kitchen, dining room with veranda access, and elegant living room.

Outside there’s a “resort-style” pool and spa, manicured lawn and gardens, dining area with pizza oven, and, perhaps the clincher, a sport court with basketball hoop.
Now 33, Iguodala was reportedly being wooed by the Houston Rockets over the summer, and “almost” accepted a deal with the team during free agency. Instead he opted to remain with the Warriors, signing a three-year, $48 million deal to stay with the defending champs.
